Tata Motors Delivers All-New Winger Vaccine Van in Lucknow, Strives to Support Government Vaccination Drive

Furthering its commitment to improve the wellbeing of the communities in which it operates, Tata Motors, India’s leading automobile company, announced the delivery of Tata Winger Vaccine Van in Lucknow to support the government vaccination drive, raise awareness, and enhance coverage in rural pockets. The Winger vaccination van was flagged off in an event at Rajbhawan on 23rd November 2021, in the presence of Smt. Anandiben Patel, Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Swati Singh (independent Incharge) Minister of Women and Child Welfare, Mahesh Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary to Hon’ble Governor, Abhishek Prakash, District Magistrate and other district administrative officials, Tata Motors Lucknow Plant Head, K Vijay Menon and representatives from Tata Motors. The Tata Motors Vaccine Van is built on Tata Winger’s versatile platform and is customized to facilitate smooth vaccination in rural areas and is equipped with enhanced safety features and required medical instruments.

Jaguar Land Rover is developing a prototype hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) based on the new Land Rover Defender, with testing scheduled to begin this year. The FCEV concept is part of Jaguar Land Rover’s aim to achieve zero tailpipe emissions by 2036, and net zero carbon emissions across its supply chain, products and operations by 2039, in line with the Reimagine strategy announced last month. FCEVs, which generate electricity from hydrogen to power an electric motor, are complimentary to battery electric vehicles (BEVs) on the journey to net zero vehicle emissions. Hydrogen-powered FCEVs provide high energy density and rapid refuelling, and minimal loss of range in low temperatures, making the technology ideal for larger, longer-range vehicles, or those operated in hot or cold environments. Tata Motors and Tata Power install high-speed EV Charging Stations in Surat

In its constant endeavor to accelerate EV adoption in the country, Tata Motors and Tata Power recently inaugurated 2 high-speed CCS2 EV charging stations one each at  Shreeji Automart, Piplod  and  Pramukh Auto, Umiya Nagar in  Surat.  With this, the company operates the largest charging network of 5 chargers in Surat and 18 throughout Gujarat, located on major routes. All Tata EV customers can now travel carefree to and from Ahmedabad – Vadodara – Surat, Ahmedabad – Rajkot and Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar.
